The Agency’s ICT applications and infrastructure was supplied by both internal resource and external suppliers that had been contracted when the Agency had very different requirements.

The ICT function had been technology based rather than service orientated, but as existing ICT provider contracts came up for renewal, the Agency had a golden opportunity to redefine its ICT infrastructure to accommodate current and future challenges.
