BEiG is highly dependent on its ICT systems for the smooth-running of its business. Unilever, the former parent company had fulfilled those needs, but under new ownership BEiG required a new, flexible, scalable, ‘fit-for-business’ IT environment to support its entire European operations.
BEiG was faced with another problem; it had virtually no internal IT staff, and the timing of developments was business critical; missing deadlines for its separation carried significant financial penalties. BEiG required an entirely new application and infrastructure suite.
