Both recession and recovery have created new challenges for IT organisations according to our new survey of CIOs. More than 70% of CIOs expect their budgets to increase this year, but a shortage of key skills, the increasing pace of technology change and issues around data security mean that fewer than 50% of CIOs believe that their IT functions are fully prepared to support growth.
